From small, intimate ceremonies to large banquets in the function suite, weddings in our majestic 17th-century manor house always feel elegant and impressive. With every detail individually tailored to each couple and weddings limited to one per day, our Weddings & Events Team will be on hand throughout to guide you through the many possibilities that come with having a wedding at Stirk House.

Your Ceremony

Your ceremony will take place in our enchanting Gallery. With its peaceful ambience, stone walls and wooden beams, it is a truly magical setting in which to say your vows. The Gallery can comfortably seat 113 people and be decorated in countless ways to perfectly fit just about any theme you can imagine for your special day. Our award-winning Weddings Team will take great pride in tailoring the perfect day with you and making it completely unique for you both, including your ceremony. Music that is personal to you both can be played and we can accommodate a whole range of additional finishing touches with the help of some of the best wedding suppliers in the area.

Your Reception

With room for over 200 people, a separate lounge area, a brand new fairy light corridor, a selfie wall, a stage, dancefloor and a huge skylight illuminating the room, there really is nowhere better for your wedding reception than our magnificent Ballroom. Enjoy your first meal as a married couple, dance your first dance and cut your cake in this fabulous part of the hotel.

Our Weddings Team will guide you through menu options and assist you in customising the room, transforming it into the perfect place for your
wedding reception!

If you’re looking for a more relaxed wedding celebration without the formal wedding breakfast, then our romantic Twilight Package could be the perfect option for you!

With our enchanting sycamore tree with over 5,000 lights, fairy lights around the pergola and in the conservatory, and our warm festoons lighting up the patio, Stirk House is the perfect backdrop for your twilight wedding. Book your ceremony with the registrars or celebrant for late afternoon / early evening, followed by a fizz reception and canapés, before heading into your evening reception where you can dance the night away!

Honeymoon Suite

The Honeymoon Suite is one of the features of Stirk House that so many of our wedding couples and other guests love.

This beautiful suite includes a luxurious bedroom with spectacular views of the surrounding grounds and countryside, a separate cosy lounge area as well as a free-standing bath and double shower. Every detail is thought of to make sure that you have everything you need on the morning of your wedding day, including hallways dotted with bouquet holders to keep your flowers fresh, and hooks to hang your wedding outfits and those of your wedding support team.
