Cissbury Barns are a unique exclusive hire Wedding venue with the total Wow factor hidden in the heart of the South Downs. Cissbury Barns can welcome from 50 adult guests (dependant on season) and up to 120 for the day and seated wedding breakfast. For the evening reception and party, the property can accommodate up to 200 guests. The East Barn and 'The Glade', the outside ceremonial area, are registered for civil wedding ceremonies and are available for exclusive use, ensuring privacy and tranquillity on your special day. The barns feature rustic brick and flint stone, impressive beams, and large windows, giving all the spaces a light and airy feel. The versatile barns offer a romantic and sophisticated rustic feel to which you can add your personality and creative flair; from floral arrangements, fairy lights, bunting and so much more, these are genuinely magnificent spaces brimming with style. Following your ceremony, you and your guests will enjoy the Ceremonial garden, during your drinks’ reception, and capture photographs against the breathtaking rural backdrop. Cissbury Barns has teamed up with some fantastic associate catering partners, each offering a variety of superb choices to ensure you have exactly the style of catering you would like. Whether a two or three-course meal, BBQ sharing platters, the choice is yours. With a wedding reception capacity of 120 and the option to invite more guests, up to 200, for your evening party, you have total flexibility to make your day as intimate or as grand as you wish. The Cissbury Wedding and Events team will assist in creating your perfect day and will be on hand with help and guidance from the moment you view the Barns to your Big Day. Couples also have the option to take advantage of their non corkage charge and supply their own drinks for the drink’s reception after their ceremony and for the wedding breakfast meal giving even more choice and peace of mind for your day.
On Site Accommodation.
We have our beautiful changing and on site two double bedroom accommodation, The North Wing Apartment. A gorgeous space to stay the night before, for getting ready in the morning and then for couples to stay on the night of their Wedding. We also have a fantastic selection of on the doorstep accommodation to suit everyone’s needs. Staying in the heart of the South Downs or right on the sea front.
