In addition to an abundance of stunning photography opportunities, Capesthorne’s spectacular grounds can also offer the dream setting for elegant outdoor ceremonies and celebrations, with The Lakeside Gazebo, Courtyard and Woodland Dome all truly breath-taking locations for couples to say their vows. The Hall’s extensive gardens and lawns can then cater for marquee receptions in the open-air and allows for a larger number of guests.

 

To the South West of the Hall lies a beautiful Georgian Chapel where a blessing can be conducted following a civil ceremony. Located a short walk from the Hall and the lake, the Chapel is set in its own private walled gardens. The ornate building provides a serene and intimate location for a more spiritual way of couples recognising their commitment to one another in a simple service, witnessed by family and friends.

 

Available from June 2019, Capesthorne Hall is adding to its existing South Tower cottage accommodation with its new Lakeside Village. The ‘hidden’ development will consist of The Lakeside Cottage and six luxury lodges, with timber-clad exteriors and ‘living roofs’, plus The Potting Shed, a communal, fully-fitted kitchen and dining area where guests can meet post-wedding for a relaxing group breakfast while taking in the beautiful rural views. Aptly named after trees Oak, Cedar, Beech, Holly, Birch and Willow, each lodge will be furnished to a high standard, complete with king-size bed, bathroom and comfortable seating area.
