Hi, I’m Joanne Dancer, bespoke cake designer at Dancers Delights. I’m a mum of 3 beautiful girls and wife to my husband Rob of 8 years. My eldest daughter Isabelle is the reason I began my cake journey 8 years ago when she requested a Minnie mouse cake for her 2nd birthday. I naively thought “easy” I can do that no problem! After working till the early hours and covered in icing sugar I was hooked and fell in love with cakes.
It soon became my passion and I set up my own business as requests started to flood in. over the last 8 years I’ve worked extremely hard, mostly self-taught I am very proud to offer bespoke cakes of the highest standard.
I work from home (Preston) in my cake studio and I am fully registered and insured with the food standards agency with a 5 star rating.
I love designing beautiful cakes and I’m honoured to play a part in creating the perfect day for special couples, my other loves in life are red wine and chocolate!
