Welcome To Bachilton Barn

Bachilton Barn is over 150 years old. The farm has been in the England family now for 3 generations and was originally famous for its potato farming. Bachilton remains a working arable farm, growing various grains like rapeseed, wheat and peas.

We do have natural herbivore grazers like sheep and cows from friendly neighbouring farms who come and graze to help Farmer Dave keep the grass down! Since we moved into the wedding and events industry in 2001, we have worked to retain habitats and encourage wildlife on our farm wherever possible.

Bachilton

Bachilton is a stunning room, with traditional wooden beams, original stone walls and a warm, hard-oak wood floor. This room has mood lighting along the beams, beautiful French doors leading to the outdoor area and the best view of our gazebo, pond and rolling Perthshire Hills. Bachilton has been used in many different ways, and we love seeing the unique stamp of each couple.

The Barn

Our barn is the ultimate blank canvas space where you can create your unique wedding style let your imaginations run wild and bring your vision to life. With plenty of lighting options, space for a band or DJ, a bar and plenty of tables, this space is yours for the making. The barn boasts a beautiful canopy decorated with fairy lights and the original wooden beams. We love seeing all the different ways our couples choose to style it.

Lochy

Lochy is the smallest of all our rooms here. It has lovely French doors opening to the front courtyard. Lochy is perfect for greeting guests, a drinks reception or creating a quiet cosy space where guests can relax. This room has a stunning view of the pond and gazebo and is perfect for more intimate weddings and ceremonies.

Cairnies

Cairnies is a highly versatile room which can be used in several ways. Adjacent to the kitchen, it is the perfect room for your caterers to use throughout your day, or for laying out a buffet or serving evening snacks.

Outdoor Space

Bachilton Barn has a large outdoor area, which includes our pond and gazebo. Our outside space has plenty of picnic benches for guests to sit, relax and mingle while enjoying their drinks and canapes. We can set up an outdoor ceremony at the gazebo, where the trees form a perfect natural aisle.
