The Barn @ Barra is exclusively yours – all day! So no need to worry about losing your guests - you’ll effortlessly keep everyone together and create a great, inclusive atmosphere.
You may choose to have your ceremony on the lawn or indoors looking out at the breathtaking views, followed by access to Barra Castle gardens for photos.
You can choose to stay the whole weekend in our luxury on-site lodge accommodation. We offer seasonal and daily rate wedding options.

The Barn @ Barra Castle is a very versatile space. Hosting intimate gatherings and large celebrations. From customised in-house lighting, a flexible party space where you can tailor the room sizes to your own needs and a cosy seating area with a wood-burning stove and a bespoke bar made from copper and whisky staves. The Barn can be configured almost exactly as you’ve pictured.
Our own Barn PA system incorporates microphone and stands, along with the functionality to play your personal playlist music direct from your smartphone.
We don’t charge corkage - Supplying your own drinks is absolutely fine by us, and we work with carefully selected first-class suppliers to help make your day a hassle-free, easy process. The Barn offers a fully fitted commercial kitchen including walk-in chiller, along with a discreet Service Area.
There’s no limit… You have complete freedom to design a dazzling wedding menu, there’s no limit to the dining possibilities our catering kitchen can deliver.
And if you wish you didn’t have to leave, you don’t! Our lodge accommodation provides the perfect dressing room to get ready for your big day along with Glencraft royal warrant beds to ensure you have a perfect night’s sleep.
