Weddings At Fennes
We’ve been lucky enough to share in once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable wedding days for our same-sex couples over the past years.
On your wedding day at Fennes, you’ll have full, exclusive use of our Georgian Manor house for your special day. Start the day by preparing for your ceremony in our luxurious changing suite before walking down the aisle outdoors surrounded by your closest friends and family with views over the 100 acres of tranquil Essex countryside, or indoors amongst the tasteful traditional yet modern décor of our venue, with ample rooms to choose from
Follow your ceremony with a delicious wedding breakfast created for you by our team of talented chefs, before extending your celebrations into the night in one of our reception rooms. When the day is over, your guests will be able to make use of our 13 guest bedrooms whilst you and your partner retire to our private and cosy honeymoon cottage, complete with a jacuzzi bath.
Depending on the number of guests you invite to your wedding, we’re able to accommodate anywhere from 35 to 350 people either indoors or outdoors based on your requirements. This is something that our experienced team will be able to discuss with you to ensure that your day is planned to perfection.

Your Choice Of Ceremony Rooms
A ceremony room is such an important part of any wedding, finding the right one to say your “I do’s” can feel like a mammoth task. We have a number of licensed ceremony rooms at Parklands – see them below.
The Banqueting Hall
Capacity – 300
The Banqueting Hall holds ceremonies, wedding breakfasts / buffets and evening receptions. It has two sets of double doors leading out onto a patio with a private garden area. This room is perfect for the large and lavish weddings or can easily be split with a curtain divider. There is ample space for stages, dancefloors and DJs, mandaps and many other installations.
The Drawing Room
Capacity – 24 seated with 6 standing
The warm sunny room is ideal for small and intimate weddings. It is also used with outside ceremonies – the bride can move from this room to the outside gazebo with bridesmaids if desired. It is a lovely space in the summer with double doors that open onto the patio with an outside bar in the gardens.
Ourdoor Ceremonies
Capacity – 300
For those who have dreamed of an outdoor ceremony we have a few options to choose from, the traditionally yet beautiful gazebo or for the more adventurous bride we have four optional areas to choose from, in front of the bridge, house, in the woods or the patio area. At night the bridge and fountains light up to give a magical feel to this area.
The Pavilion
Capacity – 250
The bright fairy lit room with stunning chandeliers holds ceremonies, as well as the main wedding breakfast / buffet and the evening reception. With a built-in dance floor and DJ area. Two double doors lead out onto our patio area to sit out and enjoy warm evenings. Outside, trees in the gardens are lit at night to give a cosy feel with views through to the fields in the distance.
