Weddings at Fingask Castle
Fingask Castle is a rural and romantic wedding venue set in the heart of Scotland. We pride ourselves on our flexibility – what you see is what you get, and more! We don’t charge extra for necessities: chairs, tables, napery, cutlery, lights, loud speakers, sweetie cart, and there is even a red letter box.
Come and explore this Scottish Highland castle within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth and Dundee.
Castle Weddings
Fingask is the ancestral home of the Threipland family who have been living here for some 400 years. They have always been a hospitable lot (Bonnie Prince Charlie, and his father stayed here!) and nowadays they open the castle to smaller weddings, up to 40 people with enough room for a dining and dancing space (in the long gallery), drinks reception downstairs, and a comfortable drawing room to relax in. Three couples can stay in the castle’s bridal suite surrounded by some of the original paintings and furniture collected over the centuries. Each room has its own four poster bed. Outside, the fountain courtyard and amusing topiary adds to the magic of this extraordinary place. They say, and I believe it, that gardening started here in the 16th century!
The Fingask Pavilion
A flexible modern structure fully furnished for dining, fully decorated for entertainment: weddings, proms, balls, ceilidhs and parties for all occasions. Family gatherings particularly welcome. We can divide the space so that 50 people can dine and dance intimately in our Amber Room. 100 people can dine and dance in the Great Hall and 250 people can dine and dance with its extension. Quite a sight with 30 eightsomes reeling under the great dome.
