Though grand in name, the Castle is incredibly intimate by nature, offering the perfect venue for a romantic elopement or a small gathering for up to 60 (with up to 40 additional evening guests). The extensive grounds offer a host of stunning indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, all legally licensed for same-sex weddings. Choose from the Castle’s grand interior, the dreamy wisteria-clad Pavilion, the quaint charm of Victorian Bathing Hut on the banks of the River Tamar, or one of the picturesque garden settings.

 

Their experienced Weddings Manager will help arrange as much or as little of your special day as you like, with their hand-picked list of local suppliers and caterers (many LGBTQ+ owned), selected for the high level of service and quality provided.
