As featured in "The Crown", Wadhurst Castle is a beautiful Regency castle wedding venue located in Wadhurst, East Sussex. Nestled within magnificent gardens, this warm, welcoming setting is ideal for both intimate and extravagant milestone celebrations alike. The destination borders Kent and Sussex, making it easily accessible from London and the South East.
Wadhurst Castle welcomes you to celebrate your entire wedding day with them or just your ceremony or just your reception following a church or ceremony elsewhere. You will have exclusive use of the castle with its magnificent rooms together with the light and airy Carriage Barn and the beautiful gardens. You and your guests will be able to admire the stunning views across the 140 acre private estate as you celebrate here. During warmer months, you and your partner can exchange vows in one of the two licensed garden spaces. Celebratory drinks and tantalising canapes can then be enjoyed on the South Terrace. In addition to the gardens, you have the beautiful castle rooms and the Carriage Barn offering further licensed ceremony and dining choices. The castle can then accommodate 130 for evening parties.
The friendly, professional wedding team at Wadhurst Castle offer a genuine and warm welcome and will be there to help you at every stage of your planning journey. With your distinct preferences in mind, they will work to ensure that your vision for your special day is realised.
Small and Intimate wedding packages are available for weekday celebrations, including catering options, for up to 30. You are welcome to provide your own drinks to enjoy throughout the festivities on a no corkage basis. Enjoy the well-appointed, spacious dressing room to get ready before your event begins.
If you are looking for convenient accommodation we have a cottage and a new woodland lodge on the estate.
We are pet-friendly.
