At Kent House Knightsbridge we recognise that every wedding is unique; one day we might be styling the venue to suit a modern minimalist style and then the next week creating a 1920s vintage reception. One of the most lovely features of the venue is its flexibility.
Kent House Knightsbridge is a versatile Victorian townhouse, with a Royal past dating back to King George III, that stylishly combines historical elegance with the intimacy of a private house, and boasts many beautiful period features including ornate cornicing, marble floors, a sweeping staircase and skylight that provide the perfect backdrop to your wedding day.

You can exclusively hire the whole venue so it’s yours for the day, giving you and your guests complete privacy. Our historic townhouse has been restored to its finest glamour and grandeur and our two downstairs rooms, The Rutland Room and The Library, provide the perfect intimate backdrop for your special occasion.
After your ceremony, your guests can enjoy a drinks reception in our Marble Hall or outside on the Terrace, before being directed up the sweeping Grand Staircase into the Sanctuary which will be dressed for the wedding breakfast.
The Kent House wedding package afford couples the exclusivity of celebrating their marriage in a private house in Knightsbridge, within a range of budgets and tastes.
The wedding packages include exclusive use of our Victorian townhouse, a canapé reception, the wedding breakfast, a four-hour drinks package, venue styling (including lighting and floristry), entertainment and staffing. Our wedding packages take the stress out of planning your big day but of course you might want to add your own personal touches and our team will be on hand to find the perfect solution.
Kent House Knightsbridge is licensed for civil weddings with The Rutland Room licensed for 96 guests and The Library for 72 guests. Our venue has capacity to hold up to 300 guests and is very popular for both wedding ceremonies or wedding breakfast celebrations following a service at a different location. For our celebrations we have forged close ties with a wide range of leading wedding suppliers including kosher and Asian caterers.

Our team is known for their seamless service and attention to detail and will support you through all the planning to the event itself. With over 20 years’ experience in wedding and event planning we understand that every bridal couple wants their wedding day to be styled to reflect their own personality. One of the advantages of our historical yet neutral venue is that it can be adapted to suit any style, from pastel pinks to monochrome black and white and yes, we’ve even filled the venue with tropical palm trees enabling you to build your dream celebration from the ground up – your day, your way.
