There can be very few settings equal to the Tithe Barn situated in the grounds of Meols Hall in Churchtown, Southport's historical manor house dating back to the 12th century.
Our exclusive 400 year old candlelit Tithe Barn has been sympathetically restored by local craftsmen, using traditional methods. With features such as the original brick walls and open beamed ceiling making it a truly special and unique setting for your ceremony, reception, party or event.
The Tithe Barn is full of rustic charm, and can be decorated by yourself to make the setting truly unique to you, a variety of florists, photographers, cake makers, music bands, ring bearing owls and other services can be recommended.
In addition to the Tithe Barn there is also the tastefully restored original Coach House with its large French doors, which open out to the picturesque traditional cobbled courtyard, with patio tables, chairs and outdoor lanterns. Making this an ideal year round outdoor/indoor venue for entertaining your guests. The perfect place to relax and enjoy welcome drinks, and maybe a selection of delicious canapes whilst having your photographs taken.
From 50 up to 120 guests can be catered for a ceremony/wedding reception with facilities for a maximum of 150 total guests in the evening. We are able to provide a complete package of catering, bar service, Master of Ceremonies and entertainment. We take pride in ensuring your wedding is as individual as you are.
There are excellent photographic opportunities within the 100 acre estate.
