There is a choice of two venues for your wedding ceremony. Your ceremony can either be held in the Rock Garden area of the Gardens, or in the Hulme Room Conservatory, with its sweeping views across the Gardens.
Rock Garden Ceremonies
If you choose to have your ceremony in our beautiful gardens, you will enter the Gardens from the VIP car park and cross the sandstone bridge to join your guests, assembled waiting for you in the lovely Rock Garden.
The wedding will take place in the thatched Summer House next to the lily pond. Once you have signed the register and the ceremony is concluded we can then serve drinks and canapés to you and your guests. We can accommodate up to 100 standing guests for outdoor ceremonies and can provide seating for any guests who may need a rest during the ceremony. The gardens provide the perfect backdrop for romantic photographs, one of our favourites is the iconic bridge in the Rock Garden overlooking the lily pond. Couples who are lucky enough to marry on a clear day can capture magnificent photographs of views across to Wales.
The Hulme Room Conservatory Weddings
The Hulme Room Conservatory offers a perfect alternative to an outdoor ceremony and is a particularly popular choice for autumn and winter weddings. The light and airy space overlooks the Gardens and includes use of our impressive Hulme Deck area, allowing for breakout spaces for guests and spectacular photo opportunities.
The space is decorated in a neutral style and features a pretty glazed lobby with double doors opening into the space, allowing a stunning entrance into the room. In addition, the room features an accessible lift, ensuring all of your guests can enjoy your special day. As well as your wedding ceremony, the Hulme Room Conservatory and Deck is ideal for a drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception. The Hulme Room Conservetory is able to accommodate a maximum of 100 guests.
