Steeped in literary history, Lindeth Howe itself was once home to English writer Beatrix Potter. The Hundith Hill Hotel hosts over 100 wedding each year. Every wedding is coordinated by our highly experienced team of professionals, ensuring your day is trouble free, leaving you to relax and enjoy your time with us.
We provide a treasure trove of photo opportunities, from its tree lined driveways, the striking views and its landscape gardens outside, to the grand open stair case and the country house wood panelled lounge inside. We are a photographer’s paradise, both in the Summer and Winter months.

With three acres of gardens hidden in the UNESCO national park, design your day to be a wonderfully relaxed celebration, bespoke to you.
Your ceremony can take place inside the Lodge or outside in the gardens. We offer 12 delightful bedrooms and 4 luxury private mews. Priding ourselves in creating bespoke menus designed by you, a bursting bar for drinks and canapes in the garden, and a dance-floor to bust that groove. We can even provide a photographic backdrop to wow every guest of the wedding party.
Askham Hall
The perfect place for a wedding, there are plenty of options to suit your budget and requirements.
We can provide a really special setting, luxurious accommodation, exquisite food and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Askham Hall is ideally suited to your party taking all the accommodation in the house for a wedding party using the Bank Barn, as then you can use the reception rooms and lawns for your drinks reception.
We generally only allow one or at the most two weddings per week, so that you have time to decorate Bank Barn exactly as you wish and turn it into your dream party venue. We welcome same sex and LGBT weddings.
