West London

Venues

Gunnersbury Park.

Situated in the heart of west London and within easy reach by both rail and road.

Set in 72 hectares of beautiful parkland, Gunnersbury’s history dates back to the 11th century when it belonged to the Bishop of London. The estate has notable significance having been owned by both Princess Amelia, daughter of King George II, in the 18th century and Baron Lionel de Rothschild and his family until 1926.

Following a £21m restoration completed in 2018, Gunnersbury Park is now host to an exciting combination of stunning historic venues and contemporary facilities. Whether you are looking for an intimate ceremony for 50 in the classical Temple, a standing reception for 80 in the stunning glass Orangery, full scale dining for 150 within the magnificent Rothschild Rooms in the House or a combination of all three, Gunnersbury Park is an elegant and distinctive setting - a unique space for your wedding celebrations.

Hammersmith Town Hall

With its central, well connected location Hammersmith Town Hall offers the perfect setting for your ceremony. Built in 1896, our historic venue is a grade II listed building with bags of charm and an old style splendour that complements the magnitude of the occasion perfectly.

We have several beautiful ceremony venues in Hammersmith Town Hall, providing tremendous flexibility when it comes to organisation and planning. Choose from The Marble Gallery, The Mayor’s Parlour, The Council Chamber, The Riverside Room, The Rose Room and The Register Office. Each room boasts its own unique character and feel, allowing couples to choose the space that feels right for them.

These rooms also vary in capacity with our smallest being The Register Office with a capacity of four, to our largest being the fabulous Marble Gallery with a capacity of up to 150 people. This gives you the option of holding a small and intimate or large and grand ceremony.

Rangers House

Think of a smart Georgian town house, of high society balls and soirees in the graceful early 18thcentury, of fashionable ladies in ravishing gowns and their handsome beaux in boots and breeches.

Then imagine your wedding day taking on the same nostalgic aura of historic elegance and style. If you yearn for the glamour of the Georgian, Regency and Victorian eras in a London mansion that has witnessed three centuries of glittering occasions, then Ranger’s House will be your ideal wedding day location.

At Ranger’s House on the edge of Greenwich Park, gilded gates open into a courtyard in front of the handsome façade of the red brick villa with its high sash windows, white pillars and portico. The venue would be exclusively yours for your special day, the perfect place for an intimate celebration with your family and friends.

The Lensbury

A Warm Welcome Awaits You

The Lensbury is a beautiful hotel and leisure club located on the banks of the river Thames at Teddington in west London. A perfect wedding venue, offering it all.

With 25 acres of mature gardens and grounds sweeping down to the river bank, The Lensbury is a “green oasis” for your special day.

Stylish reception rooms with access to the gardens are available for your reception and with floor to ceiling windows, the rooms are light and airy-feeling.  The Lensbury is licensed for wedding and civil ceremonies in a choice of different rooms for up to 180 guests.  The registrar from Richmond Registry Office will officiate the proceedings.

Kensington Palace

Home of royalty past and present, few wedding venues can boast the elegance, majesty and timelessness of Kensington Palace. Located within the spectacular Kensington Gardens, the palace is one of the most impressive venues in London.

The rich history of the palace can be sensed throughout. From the spectacular Orangery, exquisite gardens and rooms that exude splendour, this stunning atmosphere is sure to create an unforgettable day for you and your guests.

The Orangery has the capacity to accommodate up to 150 guests for a civil ceremony, 120 for a formal seated wedding breakfast, and 300 for the evening’s festivities. Once a spot for extravagant balls, the Orangery is popular venue for weddings in every season. Between the gorgeous Orangery and grand palace, the beautiful Orangery Lawn has the capacity to hold 1000 guests for a marquee reception.
