Westenhanger Castle is a unique and stunning wedding venue set within the gorgeous Kentish countryside. The romantic setting of a Castle and Manor House, provides a unique background for you to create the wedding you have always dreamed of. With our experienced in-house events organiser and chef, we can help to make your day, your way.
The Manor House
The heart of our venue. It was once the home of Henry VII and Queen Elizabeth I, so it is full of history and will impress all your guests. It is perfect for ceremonies and receptions of up to 80 people and holds our bridal suite and a fully stocked bar.
The Manor House with its front facing Georgian façade and rear facing medieval turret and castle walls offers high exposed beams and original brickwork. With a beautiful staircase and deep window sills it can be decorated to suit every taste and style. With three rooms licensed for ceremonies we are able to cater for intimate weddings that can comfortably seat up to 123 guests.
Gazebo & Gardens
Westenhanger Castle is set within 14 acres in the Kentish Countryside, so it has plenty of space for all your needs. If you want your ceremony outside, we have the space to accommodate this, using either our handmade thatched gazebo, or Rosumund's Tower.
Standing on the main lawn is the beautiful thatched oak framed gazebo which is also licensed for ceremonies. This is the ideal romantice setting for your outdoor ceremony where we can seat 20 to 300 guests.
Also licensed for ceremonies, is Rosumund's Tower. It stands tall over the garden and is covered in colourful ivy to provide you with a stunning backdrop for your photos. It can seat 20 to 300 guests.
The marquee
This has space to hold up to 200 people seated, but can also hold less and still not look empty. It is light, with draping walls, along with a starlit dancefloor. In here, we also have a bar, kitchen and a smaller room, perfect for buffets, photobooths and additional activities.
Our marquee is big enough to fit in any size wedding. It can seat up to 200 guests and has enough space for an extra 100 guests in the evening! That's one huge wedding, and sounds like a great night!
