Cornish Tipi Weddings

Wild Tipi
Hidden out of sight down narrow lanes, tucked behind native hedgerows, perched high up on coastal cliffs – these are the weddings people talk about. In beautiful settings surrounded by fields, natural golden sunlight and the sweet fragrance of wild flowers, we’ll create a magical atmosphere for your wedding day.
Our tipis can be put up virtually anywhere and taken down with little trace, opening the door to dream locations across Cornwall and the South West. We have a number of fixed locations (have a look at our locations maps below) or we can travel to your perfect spot.

Ta Mill
Situated in a picturesque valley with fantastic valley views Ta Mill is a private 45 acre wedding venue in North Cornwall. Up to 60 of your guests can stay in our delightful self catering cottages and lodges. During your stay you can absorb the natural ambience and beautiful surrounding at Ta Mill as you prepare for your special day.
Weddings are about reminiscing with friends and family you have known all your life and creating new memories. With our help your wedding will be just what you dreamed of with a fabulous array of caterers and other local suppliers to choose from.
The Mill House
The Mill House nestling in 7 acres of wooded grounds dating back 1760 offers a perfect setting and backdrop for a traditional country wedding with the added attraction of the beautiful beach at Trebarwith Strand just half a mile down the valley.
Wedding ceremonies may be held in a number of different locations around the hotel including outside under the fixed canopy (with heaters) on the attractive split level terrace.
Following the ceremony and photographs guests may enjoy drinks and canapies in the traditional bar or outside on the terrace or on the lawn overlooking the mill stream.
The reception will be tailored to individual requirements and a wedding breakfast for up to 120 guests may be served in the restaurant set alongside the mill stream. Afterwards a duck race can be organised for the wedding guests. In the evening parties for up to 200 guests can be accommodated with a wide variety of evening snacks and finger buffets available.

Pendennis Castle
Standing proudly on the Cornish headland, Pendennis Castle overlooks the Falmouth skyline.
This impressive fortress built in the reign of King Henry VIII in the 1540s boasts a commanding position almost entirely surrounded by sea, and was used right up until 1956. Today the outstanding sea views provide a beautiful backdrop for your wedding.
Your guests will certainly be impressed as they enter the grounds over the bridge through the castle’s large arched gate. Our gun crew can even fire two of our historic big guns to make your celebrations go with a bang.
